This is literally the best vanilla Minecraft client-sided pack you will ever see. This modpack is a massive collection of a ton of quality-of-life mods and resource packs. This pack is mainly for bringing back the original feel of Java edition as the main version of Minecraft(such as using VanillaTweaks to bring back the original blue-tinted buttons and remove the Java Edition title), but it can be customized however you like!
(A side note is this pack includes two resource packs that I've made and posted on CurseForge that are enabled by default and make the game fell more like it used to. Shameless plug. Sorry.)
I've pre-included some configurations for mods like BetterF3 that make sure it won't get in the way of the minimap, but again, feel free to customize this modpack to your liking.
Installation:
This modpack can be installed via the Modrinth launcher, the Curseforge launcher, ATLauncher, Prism Launcher, or literally any other launcher you can find. Easiest method would be to install it using the Modrinth launcher.
Mod List:
3D Skin Layers - Simply makes all skin overlays 3D.

Searchables - Dependency.
Simple Voice Chat - Adds voice chat to the game.

Sodium Extra - Adds even more options to Sodium.

Yet Another Config Lib - Dependency.
Zoomify - Adds zooming.
When a new version drops, be patient. I'm not in control of when these authors update their mods, so I update when they do.

This release is still missing the following mods:
- Custom Splash Screen
- Eating Animation
- Xaero's Minimap
Since these mods seem basically unsupported now, I'm just going to
continue on without them and mark this as a release rather than a beta.
Now you might be asking, "Agent, why is this 1.20.10 and not 1.20.11?"
The answer is that basically all the mods weren't working in 1.20.11,
even if they had a valid release candidate. So we're sticking to 1.20.10.
But besides that, as usual:
- Updated the mods
- Updated the resource packs
- Updated the shader packs
- Added the old redstone torch texture in through VanillaTweaks.
Changes:
- Updated Minecraft version to 1.21.5.
- Updated mods.
- Added mod Simple Voice chat, as well as a mod to make voice chat compatible with Customizable Player Models.
- Added mod Old MC Logo to change the game's icon when running to the old crafting table instead of a grass block.
- Removed mods Screenshot to Clipboard, OldInventory, and Reload Audio Driver due to them no longer being maintained(it seems).
- Removed mod LazyDFU due to it no longer being necessary in modern version of Minecraft(I might have mentioned this in a previous change log, but I'm not sure).
- Updated Complimentary Reimagined shaderpack and resource packs.
The following mods are disabled until they have a version that works flawlessly with 1.21.5:
- Better Ping Display
- Better Third Person
- CIT Resewn
- Custom Splash Screen
- Eating Animation
- Roughly Enough Items
- wthit
- Xaero's Minimap FP Edition
- Xaero's World Map
The following mods will be added once(or if) they get an update to version 1.21.5 of Minecraft:
- Cluttered Creative(a replacement for OldInventorism)
- Screencopy(a replacement for Screenshot to Clipboard)
- Updated mods
- Updated Minecraft version to 1.21.1.
Due to instabilities or incompatibilities, the mods CIT Resewn, LambDynamicLights, OldInventorism, and ScreenshotToClipboard are not included in this release.
Another note: the packs Programmer Art: Blurred Background and No New Music have been left out of this release, partially due to a warning from moderators about distributing vanilla resources, and partially from laziness on my part.
- Updated to Minecraft 1.20.5.
- Updated mods.
This version is marked as beta because the following mods have no working versions for 1.20.5:
- AntiGhost
- BetterPingDisplay
- Better Third Person
- BetterF3
- Bobby
- CIT Resewn
- Controlling
- Eating Animation
- Inventory HUD +
- LambDynamicLights
- Lithium
- No Chat Reports
- OldInventory
- Presence Footsteps
- Roughly Enough Items
- Sound Physics Remastered
- Xaero's Minimap
- Xaero's World Map
- Updated mods.
- Disabled Xaero's World Map, because it and the Xaero's Minimap mod are conflicting for some reason, causing the game to crash.
<li>Updated Minecraft version to 1.20.4.</li>
<li>Updated mods.</li>
<li>Updated resource packs.</li>
</ul>
Currently the mods ReloadAudioDriver, Sound Physics Remastered, and CIT Resewn are not included because they don't support 1.20.4 of Minecraft.
<li>Updated mods.</li>
<li>Added mod Presence Footsteps back because it updated to 1.20.2.</li>
</ul>
<li>Updated mods.</li>
<li>Changed Minecraft title logo from new, polished design to old, pixelated cracked design.</li>
</ul>
Still in beta because mods have yet to update.
Disabled mods:
<ul>
<li>Presence Footsteps</li>
<li>Reload Audio Driver</li>
<li>Sound Physics Remastered</li>
</ul>
<li>Updated mods.</li>
</ul>
<li>Added pack No New Music, because I forgot to update and include it.</li>
</ul>
<li>Updated mods.</li>
<li>Updated resource packs.</li>
<li>Removed mods Reload Audio Driver and I Know What I'm Doing because one was not up to date, and the other is now implemented into the game.</li>
</ul>
I ran a virus scan on every single mod via VirusTotal, so this modpack is safe.
<li>Updated mods.</li>
<li>Sadly, Custom Splash Screen has stopped functioning again. So it has been removed yet again.</li>
<li>Removed or corrected the politically-correct splash texts because I'm sick of all of this.</li>
</ul>
<li>Updated mods.</li>
<li>Replaced shaderpack Complementary Shaders with Complementary Reimagined.</li>
</ul>
<li>Updated mods.</li>
<li>Removed mod CameraOverhaul, as I predicted.</li>
</ul>
Added mods Camera Overhaul and Cherished Worlds. Camera Overhaul adds some first-person movement animations, while Cherished Worlds allows favoriting of single-player worlds. Most likely will remove Camera Overhaul in the next release because it'll probably bug the crap out of me. But I don't know.
And CustomSplashScreen makes a return! I have no idea why, but the latest version, made for 1.19.2, now works in 1.19.4.
Mods disabled:
<ul>
<li>BetterPingDisplay</li>
<li>CIT Resewn</li>
<li>Lamb Dynamic Lights</li>
<li>OldInventorism</li>
<li>Presence Footsteps</li>
</ul>
<li>Updated mods and Fabric version.</li>
</ul>
<li>Updated mods.</li>
</ul>
<li>Updated mods.</li>
<li>Added mod Old Inventorism to replace the stupid-as-garbage new creative inventory for 1.19.3.</li>
<li>Updated shaderpack.</li>
</ul>
<li>Added configs for mods.</li>
</ul>
<li>Removed mod Effective due to Curseforge being stupid and not letting me use mods made for Quilt with Fabric, even if they do still work.</li>
<li>Fixed a bug with the resource packs.</li>
</ul>
<li>Added Krypton mod.</li>
<li>Added Starlight mod.</li>
<li>Removed CustomSplashScreen until it updates.</li>
</ul>
Sorry this release took so long. Most mods took a while to update, and even then not all these mods are 1.19.3 certified(but don't worry; they still work).
<li>Updated mods.</li>
<li>Added mod AmbientSounds 5, which adds ambient sounds(obviously).</li>
<li>Replaced NotEnoughCrashes with MixinTrace so Iris won't yell at me.</li>
</ul>
Chances are I will have to switch to Quilt mod loader for 1.19.3 version due to a ton of mods
switching to it. Why do people have to make everything more complicated?
<li>Updated mods.</li>
<li>Updated Fabric.</li>
</ul>
Considering looking into an ambient sounds mod soon, if I can find a good one.
<li>Updated mods.</li>
<li>Redid options.txt so all options should be correct upon first launch.</li>
</ul>
<li>Updated mods.</li>
</ul>
<li>Updated all mods to latest version.</li>
<li>Added mod, "YetAnotherConfigLib."</li>
<li>Attempted to add some default configs for disabling auto-jump by default, GUI scale is 3, etc. But I cannot assure it will work. If the resource pack list is messed up, it goes in this order(from bottom to top): Programmer Art, Fabric Resources, VanillaTweaks, Retro Sounds and Textures, and finally Eating Animations resources.</li>
</ul>
<li>Added some configs for InventoryHud+, making the armor and potions readouts on by default.</li>
<li>Updated all mods to latest versions.</li>
<li>Updated Complementary Shaders to latest version.</li>
</ul>
