AlfinoLib is a library I use in all of my mods - it is a combination of the old Alfino's Datapacks/Alfino's Networking.
The library contains abstractions for datapacks and networking (the big win is stream codec standardisation!) - making version maintenance between Forge 1.20.1, NeoForge 1.21.1, and NeoForge 26.1 (hopefully) a bit easier :)
There are more planned abstractions in the future too, with the aim of making maintaining multiple versions easier.
How to Install AlfinoLib (Mod)
AlfinoLib by alfino is verified for Forge, Neoforge across Minecraft versions 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.3 (latest release: 1.2.0, file size: 267 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.20.1, 1.21.1, 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.3) and platform (Forge, Neoforge).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Forge, Neoforge.
- Move the downloaded AlfinoLib file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.

API Changes and Bugfixes:
Fixed issue where datapacks were not correctly syncing between client and server as there was no common reference for StreamCodec. Datapack registration is now done on client and server. As a result, datapack structure has introduced DatapackDefinition.
