What does this mod add?
This mod adds fireflies to the game as they were\ intended by mojang! What's that mean?
FEATURES:
- Frogs eat fireflies
- Fireflies spawn at night in swamps and other biomes
- Fireflies emit light (only if lambdynamiclights is installed)
- Fireflies can be caught in bottles!
Additional features
Caught fireflies can be smelted to retrieve their photocyte,\ which can be crafted with a glow ink sac to make glow powder.\ Glow powder can be brewed into a glow potion!
Compatibility
This mod should be compatible with just about anything\ I've playtested with Sodium and lambdynamiclights only, however,\ most other mods shouldn't pose any problems.
FABRIC API IS REQUIRED!!!
How to Install Ambient Fireflies (Mod)
Ambient Fireflies by Anxietie is verified for Fabric across Minecraft versions 1.19.4, 1.20.1 (latest release: 1.4.0+1.20.1, file size: 180 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.19.4, 1.20.1) and platform (Fabric).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Fabric.
- Move the downloaded Ambient Fireflies file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.
