A simple fabric mod that adds buttons to the book GUI to insert the normally untypeable formatting codes into the text. Also lets you type a section sign (§) using left alt.
NOTE: Due to a bug in vanilla the reset code (§r) does not reset formatting from the previous line until the next line. To avoid this you can reset the formatting after each line or use a color code instead which also resets all other formatting.
How to Install Book Formatting (Mod)
Book Formatting by Luadewi is verified for Fabric across Minecraft versions 1.19.3, 1.19.4, 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.20.2, 1.20.3, 1.20.4, 1.20.5 (latest release: 1.0.0, file size: 21 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.19.3, 1.19.4, 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.20.2, 1.20.3, 1.20.4, 1.20.5) and platform (Fabric).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Fabric.
- Move the downloaded Book Formatting file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.
