Do you wish bees were more complicated? Do you miss features (that a certain much older mod had) that certain modern bee resource mods don't have, like actual diploid genetics? Do you really want to keep reading these rhetorical questions?
Find bees in the world, domesticate them, and crossbreed them to generate infinite resources - honey, mob drops, even ore resources like diamonds and netherite! This mod is also extremely configurable - almost everything in the mod can be configured and changed; add new bee species, combs, recipes, and more with a datapack - no extra addon mods required!
JEI is HIGHLY recommended to see recipes, mutations, and bee products. Patchouli is also recommended to enable an in-game guide to the mod.
Features
- Bees!
- Genetics!
- Tools and armor!
- Building blocks!
- Foods!
- A full wiki explaining how to use the mod as well as how to configure the mod using datapacks!
- If Patchouli is installed, a fully complete guidebook to explain the mod in-game!
Credits
- ACCBDD for all original code
- SirSengir for the mod that inspired this one (+ some textures)
- Abbie5 for the EMI integration

## Changed
- Small fixes to debug commands (thank you @unilock)
## Updated
- zh_cn translation (thank you @ChuijkYahus)
## Fixed
- Apiarist armor having no texture when put on a player - #135
Mellariums and Gyrofuges have gotten some balance changes! They now damage frames more the more of the same frame there
is, meaning you'll have to actually automate making frames if you want continuous high-level frame output. Gyrofuge
extraction and efficiency units have been buffed, and you can now burn bees in a honey generator (or compost them!)
Mutations are now defined as recipes! Their definition hasn't changed, but their location in datapacks has: they are now
under a namespace's recipe folder. Datapacks will need to update accordingly. This is a semi-breaking change -
unfortunately, any mutation research data a player already has will be wiped. You can use commands to restore it.
## Changed
- Mutations are now defined as recipes - they have moved in the datapack structure
- Apid library no longer shows condition heading if a mutation has no conditions
- Highlights to mutation condition descriptions
- Mellariums now damage frames more the more of the same frame there is
- Bees are now compostable
- Bees can be burned in the honey generator
- Gyrofuge extraction units add more output chance, less idle rf/t, and reduce power efficiency less
- Gyrofuge efficiency units add less idle rf/t
## Fixed
- Handheld analyzer occasionally voiding individuals
- Frames not enchantable
- Apiarist set not tagged/enchantable
- Bee staff not enchantable
- BWG compat broken - #129
## Fixed
- Analyzer shows placeholder for life label - #131
- Bee twins getting sympathetically mutated - #132
This update will break some custom centrifuge recipes, if you have any!
## Changed
- Centrifuge recipe definition takes a generic Ingredient input, instead of hardcoded ItemStack with component data
- Apiary can now be crafted with vanilla honeycomb as well
## Fixed
- Bee textures breaking on resource pack reloads
## Fixed
- Occasional failure to save centrifuges
## Fixed
- EMI plugin being annoying with ingredient lookup

## Fixed
- Incompatibility with other mods that add block ingredients - #128
- World lock when pulling frames out of an empty mellarium - #127
## Fixed
- JEI lookup crash - #126
A nerf (?) to the Mellarium, meaning you can't just spam 30 something honeyed frames to produce infinite
resources for free: bee production now takes into account 'partial' ticks - if a bee lives for only part of a bee tick,
it produces proportionally fewer products. This makes lifespan actually worth breeding for, and adds some interesting
tradeoffs in terms of frame usage.
## Added
/combees setgenecommand completion
## Changed
- Bee production now takes into account 'partial' ticks
- Made missing flower type message more clear
- Made wrong temperature type more clear
- Queens now recheck conditions as soon as frames change
- Updated zh_cn translation (thank you @ChuijkYahus!)
## Fixed
- Low lifespan produces no specialty products - #121
- Queens not working for recipe lookup in EMI
