A simple server side death chest mod. For Forge.
Works on both server side and client side.
Uses only vanilla chests so that it doesn't need to be installed by the client.
Features in 1.4 (Can be changed in config files):
Player Heads spawn on top of the chests (off by default).
Players get a log book that shows time of death dimension and coordinates (on by default).
Chests are locked and can only be opened by players with the right log book (on by default).
How to Install Death Chest (Mod)
Death Chest by Smileycorp is verified for Forge across Minecraft versions 1.12.2, 1.14.4, 1.15.2, 1.16.5, 1.17.1, 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.19.4 (latest release: 1.6.2c, file size: 13 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.12.2, 1.14.4, 1.15.2, 1.16.5, 1.17.1, 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.19.4) and platform (Forge).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Forge.
- Move the downloaded Death Chest file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.
