Dynamic Fullbright
Traditional fullbright mods apply a nightvision filter, set the light levels all to the maximum, or change the gamma.
Dynamic Fullbright instead offers the ability to clamp or scale light levels, retaining the lighting ambience of the area while still making things visible.
You can set everything to the maximum to achieve true full brightness, or tone it down to suit your preference.
Example
Dynamic Fullbright works by taking the lightlevels obtained by the render thread and shifting them during lighting updates.
The default settings scale block and sky light levels to be in the range of 4-15.
Extras
With cloth config and mod menu, you access the settings to bring the brightness to anything you desire.

- Updated to 26.1 Minecraft.
- Updated to 1.21.11 Minecraft.
- Updated to 1.21.10 Minecraft.
## Additions
- The config menu now has an option to scale how much brightness is granted by the sky.
- This option is enabled by default.
- Disable this option if you want sky brightness to remain dependent on the time of day/weather.
## Changes
- Adjusted how entity brightness works to account for the new system.
- The option for maximum skylight is visible again.
## Bugfixes
- Raising the minimum skylight now works how you'd expect it to (when the new config option is enabled).
## Known Issues
- Skylight interacts strangely with foliage, doors, torches, and likely other non-standard blocks, causing them to be too dark or too bright.
- This bug is fixed when using also using Sodium, so most users won't encounter it.
- Mod now depends on versions of Fabric API >= 0.86.
## Bugfixes
- Fixed Sodium 0.5 incompatibility.
- Fixed Fabric API 0.86 incompatibility.
- If the
separate entity lightmode is enabled and the entity light min and max are set to 0 and 15 respectively (which logically means no scaling occurs for entity lighting), then entity light adjustments are disabled on the mod level.
## Tweaks
- Increased priority level of entity light scaling and added the ability to disable the mixin for it entirely, this is a workaround to improve compatibility with LambDynamicLights ([#3](https://github.com/Provismet/Dynamic-Fullbright/issues/3)) and any other mod that changes the return value of
entity.getBlockLight().
- Added a new setting to the modmenu config that lets the mod remember it's on/off state when launching Minecraft.
- Added more tooltips to modmenu config.
