Enhanced Weather
Notice: This project is discontinued, however, I am currently working on a new weather mod to replace it: Deluge. Stay tuned for it's eventual release!
This mod revamps Minecraft's Weather by adding localized weather effects and a volumetric cloud system.
Some features include:
- Moving Volumetric Clouds
- Wind
- Localized Rain, Snow, Thunderstorms, and Hail
- Rainbows!!!
- Tornadoes (WIP)
- Doppler Radar to track wind and storms
NOTICE Version 1.1 is a revamped version of Enhanced Weather, which differs from the 1.0 version, if you want the older version, then download 1.0 instead of 1.1. I WILL NOT BE PROVIDING ANY SUPPORT FOR VERSION 1.0, ANY ISSUES OPENED RELATING TO IT WILL BE CLOSED IMMEDIATELY
How to Install Enhanced Weather (Mod)
Enhanced Weather by TalonFloof is verified for Fabric, Quilt across Minecraft versions 1.19, 1.19.1, 1.19.2, 1.19.3, 1.19.4, 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.20.4 (latest release: v1.1-Alpha2+1.20.1, file size: 2.5 MB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.19, 1.19.1, 1.19.2, 1.19.3, 1.19.4, 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.20.4) and platform (Fabric, Quilt).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Fabric, Quilt.
- Move the downloaded Enhanced Weather file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.

This update allows Enhanced Weather to run on dedicated servers. However, in order to do this, a sacrifice had to be made. I'm now using Omega Config as the config system since Cloth Config's Auto Config doesn't work properly on dedicated servers. However, Omega Config's GUI system appears to not work with 1.19 so for now the config screen has been removed. Please edit the "enhanced-weather.json" file instead. The good news though is that Omega Config is builtin to the mod, so you don't have to download it! I'll try to make a config screen soon, but I don't have the time right now. I'm busy working on other projects!
