This pack is a test item for me to practice datapack. Because I was tired of the vanilla terrain and I always wanted an efficient realistic terrain, I started refactoring the vanilla terrain.

Epic Terrain Compatible:https://modrinth.com/datapack/epic-terrain_compatible
Epic Terrain is an experimental product for technical experimentation, so compatibility is not considered.
Currently, there are bugs in MC1.21 and above versions 1.4a~b. I have found the reason; I used minecraft:lake, but it has bugs in 1.21. Fortunately, someone has already attempted to fix it. https://modrinth.com/mod/worldgenfeaturefix
📖What's this datapack?
In the original, although the terrain of the higher version has been overhauled, it is still not spectacular enough, and it does not feel like it is surrounded by mountains.
Now, this datapack can do just that, as it rewrites the terrain for the game. You can now see the mountains in the game!

This datapack adds real plains, real alpine peaks to Minecraft.
💡Features:
- Smooth surface
- Resembles eroded terrain
- Spectacular alpine peaks
- Terrain can now generate like continental plates.
- Brand new coastlines: Can form eroded inlets, seas, straits, islands, and peninsulas.
- A new river system with large rivers and small rivers, with a drop function, and a source.
Because with reality as a reference, the map size is too large, and the ocean can have 10,000 tiles. It is recommended to use the World Preview mod for map preview

Note
- [https://modrinth.com/mod/terrablender cannot be used, as it will disable surface functionality. Such as: rivers]
- Because the biome distribution has been reset, it is almost incompatible with modules that increase biomes, and mods that modify the original version can be used
- Theoretically 1.19 should be supported, but 1.19 doesn't support custom biomes, so I shouldn't update 1.19.

## Contents:
- A new base layer created according to vanilla, but the previous new biomes were not added due to resetting the entire data pack.
- A new river system with large rivers and small rivers, with a drop function, and a source.

- New terrain generation algorithm: Linking temperature, humidity, continentality, and erosion related to the terrain to achieve more reasonable terrain.

- Brand new coastlines: Can form eroded inlets, seas, straits, islands, and peninsulas.

- Fixed the support of version 1.20.5~1.21.1, but 1.21.3 and 1.21.4 cannot be used. The cause is currently unknown.

Version 1.21.4 was added(1.21.4 should theoretically be supported)
## Contents:
- The noise simulation erosion algorithm was updated to version 3.0.
- Approx. 20% performance improvement
- A new lake biome, Zenith Lake, is added to generate at the top of a mountain.
- Added 3 new special terrains: Mountain Passes at the Top of the Mountain (for the Zenith Lake biome, and future volcanoes), Early Wind-Eroded Terrain and Late Wind-Eroded Terrain.
- Added block texture detail to mountain biomes, snow blocks piled up in small ravines, etc.
- Increased the chance of non-cold biomes.
- Tweaked the waterfall and surface block textures of large rivers.
- Optimized the problem that the riverbed is always flat.
- Optimized surface fragmentation due to caves, and made the hole smaller .
Version 1.21.4 was added(1.21.4 should theoretically be supported)
## Contents:
- Add excessive functionality to the biome. Transitions that make their biome boundaries smoother

### New cave system
- (1) Increase the terrain of sinkholes on the surface
- (2)Huge caverns underground
- (3)Underground lava river
## Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where the biome deep_dark generated too large an area.
- Fixed an issue where cold biomes were often spawned, and now have a normal spawn rate.
## Contents:
- The biomes Mushroom_Fields, Lush_Caves, and dripstone_caves were added back to it, and the point mountain area was slightly adjusted
Version 1.21.3 was added(1.21.3 should theoretically be supported)
## Contents:
- Newly upgraded noise simulation erosion algorithm. Included (terrain is more reasonable, spectacular, and 15% more performance)
- Adjusted stepped rivers and added waterfall functionality (spawning may be weird, but not at the moment)
Version 1.21 was added(1.21.1 should theoretically be supported)
Version 1.21 was added(1.21.1 should theoretically be supported)
## Contents:
- The terrain height has been increased to 350+, which has improved the terrain algorithm, but the performance optimization is still not enough (see if it can be improved later)
- Add big rivers, small rivers and roads

Added v0.0.9 module format
At present, it is found that the 1.19 version should be supported in theory, but the actual test cannot be loaded, and the problem is unknown
Added v0.0.9 module format
Sorry, I've been a bit of a mess lately
## Contents:
Broadened version support, now supports1.20.5 and 1.21 because I didn't pay attention to the version number.
At present, it is found that the 1.19 version should be supported in theory, but the actual test cannot be loaded, and the problem is unknown
## Contents:
- Completely reconstruct the terrain of Minecraft, using a special method, using noise to simulate erosion, the terrain is more reasonable.
- The world is modified even big, and the plains terrain will become flatter.
- Changed the world building height limit to 512, and the maximum mountain spawn height is about 300.
- Added rivers that shuttle through various biomes, with drops.
At present, it is found that 1.20.5 and above cannot be used, the specific reason is unknown, and I don't know if it is because the official data package has been modified again.
## Contents:
- The current continent is really surrounded by the ocean (but it is easy to spawn in the ocean)
- Reset the erosion algorithm
- The continent has mountainous and plain areas

- The biomes are now larger than before
- The current world altitude has changed from 320 to 384, and the sea level is 80
- The ocean will be deeper in some places, although not very deep
## Contents:
Adjustments have been made to the mountain.
- The mountain has changed from the original overall "thin and tall" to partially "thin and tall", and some of the mountains with a gentle slope.
- In the saddle between the mountains, there will be a certain gentle slope at the ridge, and you can now enjoy climbing the mountain.

Terralith terrain and biomes are basically compatible. There are some bugs that I can't fix, though.
