This is a very simple mod that aims to return you to the entrance of a cave or structure by using an Escape Rope! I made this to use in my Cobblemon server but it is completely stand alone and can work in any pack.
How it works: The mod keeps up with player coordinates and records the last coordinates at which your player could see the sky. Using the rope moves you to those coordinates. Simple.

How to Install Escape Rope (Mod)
Escape Rope by pixelsenpai is verified for Forge across Minecraft versions 1.20.1 (latest release: 1.0.0, file size: 46 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.20.1) and platform (Forge).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Forge.
- Move the downloaded Escape Rope file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.
