Beautiful shaders that don't need a beast PC. Featherlight is built to run smoothly on old laptops and low-end GPUs while still looking realistic, and it scales all the way up to Ultra if you've got the power.

⚙️ Presets: one click, then tweak anything

|---|---|
| 🥔 Potato | Very old PCs and laptops. No real shadows, maximum FPS |
| 🟠 Low | Weak GPUs. Light shadows, realistic water and stars |
| 🟡 Medium (default) | Most PCs. Soft shadows, caustics, Milky Way, god rays, bloom |
| 🟢 High | Good GPUs. Sharper shadows, terrain reflections, anti-aliasing |
| 🔵 Ultra | Strong GPUs. Maximum quality |
Every feature has its own on/off switch and sliders, organized into menus: Shadows, Lighting, Water, Underwater, Fog, Atmosphere, Sky, Waving and Post Processing.
📥 Installation
- Install Iris (Fabric/NeoForge) or OptiFine
- Put the
.zipin.minecraft/shaderpacks(don't unzip it) - Go to Options → Video Settings → Shader Packs → Featherlight
💡 Tips for low-end PCs
- Start on Potato. If your FPS is good, try Low.
- Shadows cost the most FPS, then Terrain Reflections and God Rays.
- After updating the pack, re-select a preset so the new defaults apply.
