This mod does one thing only: Adds a new ore block called Gunpowder Ore, which can be broken with a stone pickaxe or better to receive two gunpowder ore. It generates in large veins in both Dripstone and Lush Caves. If it's detonated in an explosion, it will create a small explosion as well.
This was created for one of my personal modpacks. I wanted a significant source of gunpowder but had removed all of the fantasy mobs, including the Creeper. The other mods that I found for adding a source of mineable gunpowder were more complicated than I wanted.
How to Install Gunpowder Ore (Mod)
Gunpowder Ore by biggsmcb is verified for Forge, Neoforge across Minecraft versions 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.2, 1.21.3, 1.21.4 (latest release: 1.0.0, file size: 18 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.2, 1.21.3, 1.21.4) and platform (Forge, Neoforge).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Forge, Neoforge.
- Move the downloaded Gunpowder Ore file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.
