The Buckets
Hot Water

Main effects:
- Soak for a Speed boost. Plain Hot Water does not heal by itself.
Milk Bath
Description: It's not for drinking.

- Slowly restores health and hunger. Cleanses harmful effects after soaking, except Bad Luck and Bad Omen.
Herbal Bath
Description: Bah, why is this so bitter?

Main effects:
- Slowly restores health, grants Resistance and hurts undead. Its cleansing can remove Bad Luck, but keeps Bad Omen.
Peony Bath
Recipe: Hot Water Bucket + Peony x2

Main effects:
- Slowly restores health and gives attack speed and knockback resistance. Repeated visits unlock a Luck bonus; its cleansing also removes Bad Omen.
Honey Bath
Description: This bath is a little bit sticky.
Recipe: Hot Water Bucket + Honeycomb Block

Main effects:
- Slowly restores health, restores hunger faster and gives Absorption. The sticky bath also slows you down; cleansing keeps Slowness, Bad Luck and Bad Omen.
Rose Bath
Description: What a romantic treat.
Recipe: Hot Water Bucket + Rose Bush x8

Main effects:
- Restores health faster, grants Strength and cleanses harmful effects, including Bad Omen.
Bath Water Bottles
Take a bath with you: fill bottles with bath water to drink, or brew them with gunpowder for splash versions. Each bath has its own bottle effects; drinking and splashing are different from soaking in a pool.
Dirtiness and Mod Integrations
Bathing washes off dirt. The optional dirtiness system and integrations add reasons to build a bath beside your base. ShowerCore adds functional showers, bathtubs and rubber ducks. Temperature, creature and automation integrations depend on the other mods installed.
For stairs and slabs, Forge 1.20.1 uses Fluidlogged; NeoForge 1.21.1 supports bath waterlogging directly. Integration APIs and custom datapack baths are covered in the official guide.

Patch release for Minecraft 1.21.1 / NeoForge and Minecraft 1.20.1 / Forge.
## Fixed
- Restored ordinary water and lava bucket filling when Hot Bath is installed, including Create Spouts.
- Restored fluid capabilities for built-in bath buckets and dynamic datapack bath buckets.
- Fixed Create Spout filling of stacked empty buckets while preserving the bath fluid identity.
- Kept legacy bucket metadata unchanged during reads and simulated transactions; invalid bath fluid IDs do not consume buckets or fluid.
## Validation and remaining scope
Both branches passed JVM regression tests, 30 native Create filling transactions and 20 real Spout/emptying transactions in a hidden client across 10 fluids. Tested with Create 6.0.9 on NeoForge 1.21.1 and Create 6.0.8 on Forge 1.20.1. Test and recording harnesses are excluded from the production JARs.
Recipe-viewer GUI behavior and other Create compatibility work remain under review in [#47](https://github.com/crabsatellite/hotBath/issues/47) and [#33](https://github.com/crabsatellite/hotBath/issues/33). This release does not claim full modpack acceptance.
