This mod just changes lava to render like so:
It does not affect the red overlay you get when in Lava.
This was a MMD request I picked up and thought others might like.

How to Install I See Lava (Mod)
I See Lava by AzureDoom is verified for Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, Quilt across Minecraft versions 1.16.5, 1.17.1, 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.19.3, 1.19.4, 1.20, 1.20.1 (latest release: 1.1.10, file size: 96 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.16.5, 1.17.1, 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.19.3, 1.19.4, 1.20, 1.20.1) and platform (Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, Quilt).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, Quilt.
- Move the downloaded I See Lava file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.
