Press R to organize items (the key can be changed in settings).

The configuration file allows for modification of the sorting method and sound effects. Go to the Mods list, find the "Inventory Sort" option and click on the lower left corner to enter the configuration interface.
How to Install Inventory Sort (Mod)
Inventory Sort by wzz is verified for Forge across Minecraft versions 1.20.1 (latest release: 1.9, file size: 53 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.20.1) and platform (Forge).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Forge.
- Move the downloaded Inventory Sort file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.
