Are you interested in exploring 7 new Minecraft dimensions, in the spirit of popular game series MYST? The Mystcraft Data Pack adds books that allow you to teleport to these worlds and your own waypoints! Just don't forget a way back...
About
These 7 dimensions come with their own special biomes and resources. Current dimensions are:
- Sanctuary
- Wasteland
- Sanctuary
- Blizzard
- Pocket Dimension
- Skylands
- Warrens
You can also create your own books that can teleport you to saved waypoints, last death point, and even other players. Mystcraft is even more fun with your friends and optimized to run on servers.

Installation
To install, move the mystcraft_datapack.zip file into .minecraft/saves/YOURSAVE/datapacks
Then add the mystcraft_resources.zip into .minecraft/resourcepacks and activate it in the GUI
Future Plans
I am continuing to add features to Mystcraft. Current plans include:

- More custom features for biomes
- Custom models for opened books

How to Install Mystcraft Data Pack: Open New Dimensions! (Datapack)
Mystcraft Data Pack: Open New Dimensions! by marsleymakes is verified for Datapack, Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, Quilt across Minecraft versions 1.21.10, 1.21.11, 1.21.4, 1.21.5, 1.21.6, 1.21.7, 1.21.8, 1.21.9 (latest release: 1.7.12, file size: 187 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.21.10, 1.21.11, 1.21.4, 1.21.5, 1.21.6, 1.21.7, 1.21.8, 1.21.9) and platform (Datapack, Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, Quilt).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Datapack, Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, Quilt.
- Move the downloaded Mystcraft Data Pack: Open New Dimensions! file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/saves/<world>/datapacksfolder and launch the game.

- All Ages updated to 26.3's new world generation format; terrain generates the same as before
- Beds still explode in the Small and Warrens Ages, and so do the new Straw Beds

Minor worldgen changes.
A minor bug that allowed for link books to be accidentally deleted has been fixed.
Fireflies added to Archipelago, Dry grass to Wasteland, and leaf littler to various dimensions.
Discovered a bug that covers the wasteland in lava when updating from older versions/using Terralith.
This was auto-packaged by Modrinth! Use the datapack for more reliability!
