The mod hides invisible block faces that the player wouldn’t see anyway, reducing system load without compromising visual quality. It also uses a cache to avoid repeating the same checks every frame. The configurable depth check allows fine-tuning the balance between performance and detail. Especially effective in forests and jungles, where foliage is most dense.
🎮 Tests: 🍃 In areas with extremely dense foliage, FPS can improve by up to ~25%! In moderately leafy areas, up to ~15% more FPS 🍃

How to Install OptiLeaves (Mod)
OptiLeaves by norevy is verified for Forge, Neoforge across Minecraft versions 1.18, 1.18.1, 1.18.2, 1.19, 1.19.1, 1.19.2, 1.19.3, 1.19.4 (latest release: 2.0.1, file size: 18 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.18, 1.18.1, 1.18.2, 1.19, 1.19.1, 1.19.2, 1.19.3, 1.19.4) and platform (Forge, Neoforge).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Forge, Neoforge.
- Move the downloaded OptiLeaves file into your Minecraft
