PocketGPS

This mod adds a "PocketGPS" item and changes minimap mods to only display if it is in the player's inventory or Curios/Trinkets/Accessories slot. Useful if you want to limit minimap usage in the early game.

There is also a config option to require the GPS be charged in order to display the map. The drain rate and capacity can also be changed in the config if enabled. 

Includes support for the following minimaps currently:

  • Xaero's Minimap / WorldMap
  • FTB Chunks
  • JourneyMap

How to Install PocketGPS (Mod)

PocketGPS by lanAnderson is verified for Fabric, Forge, Neoforge across Minecraft versions 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.20.1, 1.21, 1.21.1, 1.21.2, 1.21.3 (latest release: 1.20.1-1.1.6, file size: 174 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:

  1. Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.20.1, 1.21, 1.21.1, 1.21.2, 1.21.3) and platform (Fabric, Forge, Neoforge).
  2. Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Fabric, Forge, Neoforge.
  3. Move the downloaded PocketGPS file into your Minecraft .minecraft/mods folder and launch the game.
