Screenshot Viewer

Screenshot viewer is a mod that allows you to see the screenshots that you have taken while you were gaming! (including the accidental ones you took when you where trying to press F3).

It comes with a great GUI and an in-game configuration thanks to CatConfigMC, a library I myself developped.

Here are two screenshots of the in-game GUI:

If you want to see in detail one of your screenshots, or just go through them, you can click on one to enlarge it and scroll or click on the buttons on the left and right to go to the next one or the previous one.

Finally, you can access this screenshots management screen by clicking on a button on the title screen or in the pause menu, or by configuring a key binding.

  • Improvements to the button placement configuration screen
  • moved buttons in title screen and pause screen to be coherent with new ui design
  • screenshot elements widgets background color can be changed, removed option that controls transparency
  • color options now support ARGB instead of plain RGB. Transparency can be set with the color

# Screenshot Viewer 1.3.4 for Neoforge on Minecraft 1.21.1
Took a long time to release this one, because of school and also because I don't enjoy minecraft modding as much as before. Anyways changelog:
  • added config option and screen for customizing the screenshots button position on the title screen and the pause menu
  • therefore removed pause_menu_button_offset config option
  • removed MinecraftClientMixin, minecraft doesn't cap fps in the game menu anymore

  • Removed background in config menu

  • some translations were updated
  • added support for compression of screenshots into thumbnails (note: this might print errors sometimes in the console but don't worry it's okay)

Screenshot Viewer 1.3.2 for Forge 1.20.1:

  • includes all features of 1.3.1
  • fixed chat tooltip for opening taken screenshot showing non translated text.
  • fixed list order getting messed up when reloading screenshots.
  • screenshot now reload with the same order as they're displayed (no more waiting 10 seconds for screenshot to show when loading with descending order).

There were many changes and additions (lang files for example) but here are some:

  • Ressource pack support for custom buttons
  • Fast delete mode
  • New shortcuts (CTRL-C, F5)
  • New buttons in enlarged screenshot menu

Configs might reset due to catconfig version bump. Sorry! 😏

  • buttons from properties menu are now occupying the whole menu width. This can be reverted from the config.
  • new toast appears when copying a screenshot to clipboard.

  • Note**: the mod technically works on 1.20.6, just don't open the config screen because it'll make the game crash 😎
