whilst this mod is archived, i'll still fix serious bugs and crashes if they ever come up. so still report those ! :o)
This is a small, simple mod which gives slimes a slightly more noticeable role in the game, by adding a brand-new spreadable mini-biome that they inhabit.
What does it add?
When adventuring through the caves, you may come across an 'Ooze zone', a slimey patch of cave where slimes live. The walls of an ooze zone are covered in ooze blocks, a spreadable block which will occasionally spawn a single slime when a player is in range.
Spreadable?
Much like sculk, ooze blocks can spread. when an ooze-spawned slime is killed, a small patch of ooze will spread around it, causing the slimey biome to spread further!
Loot!
Some ooze zones spawn with a circular ring of rooms around the centre -- each room having a chance to contain a barrel full of useful stuff.

How to Install Slime Minibiome (Mod)
Slime Minibiome by snowdropp is verified for Babric, Fabric, Neoforge across Minecraft versions 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.11, b1.7.3 (latest release: 1.20.1-1.0.2, file size: 48 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.11, b1.7.3) and platform (Babric, Fabric, Neoforge).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Babric, Fabric, Neoforge.
- Move the downloaded Slime Minibiome file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.
