Sneaky NameTag
Makes player nametags only visible when:
- Directly targeting them
- Player isn't crouching
- Client side
This mod is ideal for roleplay, as names will not be visible unless you are close and looking directly at the person. This way:
- It is more immersive.
- You don't sacrifice the ability to see names.
- If someone doesn’t want to reveal their name, they can crouch— even if you're close and looking at them, you won’t see their name.
How to Install Sneaky NameTag (Mod)
Sneaky NameTag by restonic4 is verified for Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, Quilt across Minecraft versions 1.18, 1.18.1, 1.18.2, 1.19, 1.19.1, 1.19.2, 1.19.3, 1.19.4 (latest release: 1.0, file size: 168 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.18, 1.18.1, 1.18.2, 1.19, 1.19.1, 1.19.2, 1.19.3, 1.19.4) and platform (Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, Quilt).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, Quilt.
- Move the downloaded Sneaky NameTag file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.
