Fabric Minecraft Modrinth GitHub

A lightweight, dark themed Fabric modpack focused on performance, technical play, and subtle quality‑of‑life improvements. It includes mods like litematica or carpet, a lot of optimalization mods, bringing Minecraft from 30 fps to around 300 fps on my Macbook M2 Air, while not loosing quality.

This modpack is build and managed by Azalea, a CLI modpack manager tool.

Install

Modrinth Launcher

  1. Search for Starlight, or visit the website
  2. Click Install

Prism Launcher

  1. Click on Add Instance in the top left corner
  2. Click on Modrinth in the left sidebar
  3. Search for Starlight, and look for a pink S logo

  • Added mcwifipnp to allow offline LAN
  • Updated to Minecraft 26.2 and Fabric loader 0.19.5, bumping all mods for compatibility
  • Added Better Carpet Bots & Servermatica (my mods) from Modrinth as they are now published
  • Replaced zoom mod to Zoomify
  • Removed Limitless Banners, Fancy Entity Renderer, Fast Quit, GDP, Refined Advancements cause of no 26.2 version
  • Replaced Greater Wolfs with my own mod Dog Commands because former not maintained
  • Overhauled the release process: release.sh now bumps the version and tags from the [Current] changelog section, and release notes are extracted per-version instead of posting the whole changelog
  • Added update-configs.sh and update-local-mods.sh helper scripts for syncing configs from the Prism Launcher instance and pulling in locally-built mods
  • Updated and cleaned up shared configs (Jade, Tweakeroo, MiniHUD, Sodium, Xaero's, FancyMenu title/pause screens, and others)
Updated the modpack to be optimized for Linux instead of MacOS as it was before, as I switched to Linux (ik selfish lol). Chore updated mods, cleaned up configs, and copied some configs from Fabulously optimized as their modpack is absolutely amazing.

Reverted most of the UI and sound changes cause I did not like them. Added some minor details.

Revamped some of the mods, added a different music mod, ambient soudns and changed UI.

In this version, I migrated from using mods to using datapacks for some things. Files for client preset exports (as per new feature in glowberry) have been also added.

Updated all mods from 1.21.10 to 1.21.11. No mods removed/added (for like the first time ever updating MC versions πŸ₯³)

  • Added a way better "Better LAN" mod
  • Added armor HUD indicator
  • Added back the player model in the menu screen because Fancy Menu fixed it (yipee)
  • Switched the no phantom mod, one without an annoying on-join ad message (was annoying)
  • Added a waay better skin manager mod (now through web and /skin command)
  • Added Cherished Worlds mod (pin worlds with a star)

Updated mods to latest versions, added some skin enhancing mods (3d skin layers, hide armor)

Updated modpack to 1.21.4. Removed Redstone Chunkloaders and NoSilkTouchEnderchest, added FortuneWarning.

Removed unused libraries and the NotEnoughRecibeBooks mod, because it is not updated to work with the lates Architectury version. Fixed option files and removed old config files.

Removed buggy sound mods, added voice chat.

Updated outdated mods and added the following new sound mods:

  • Sounds
  • Sound Physics Remastered
  • MRU (dependency library)
  • YACL (dependency library)

Removed 2 mods that were added last release. because they caused frame drop and other performance issues. The removed mods are:

  • Noisium
  • CanLightningDoFire

Fixed a packwiz behavior that prevented server side Modrinth content to be included in the modpacks. This resulted in missing mods in previous versions that were supposted to be in this modpack. The following mods were not included:

  • World Edit
  • Carpet
  • Limitless Banners
  • Teleport commands
  • Can Lightning Do Fire
