Syncmatica Revolution

[English] | 中文

Project Origin: This is a modified fork of Syncmatica, with enhanced collaboration features including shared material progress tracking.

Key New Feature: Shared Material Progress Tracking

Material Progress Tracking provides a real-time material coordination system for collaborative building:

  • Shared Requirements: Server automatically scans schematic material needs, synced to all players in real-time
  • Claim System: Players can claim specific materials to prevent duplicate collection
  • Stocking Area Scan: Server can scan configured container areas to track available inventory
  • Live HUD Overlay: Client-side floating window displays material progress with customizable position and style

Access the material tracker via the MaterialGatherings button to coordinate team resource collection.

Syncmatica_r is a mod which aims to mod into litematica so that schematics and their placements can be easily shared.

[!CAUTION] Syncmatica_r is a mod that gives its users a lot of power and can have consequences for the server. Only use this mod if you feel confident that your users won't abuse it too heavily.

Client

You first need to install fabric and add the litematica and malilib mods to your client. The next step is to move the Syncmatica_r mod file to the mod folder. Now you are ready to go.

Server

For the server you only need to install fabric and put Syncmatic in the mods folder, and you are good to go.

After running the mod once it will create a configuration file that you can use to configure the mod as you please. See Config Doku for more information.

Usage

Once installed on your client, you can join every server normally. For servers which have Syncmatica_r installed you will get access to a few extra buttons. 2 of them are in the main menu and allow you to see the placements that are shared on the server and download them. Another is in your schematic placement overview and allows you to share your own litematics with the server.

You need to be in the same dimension as a syncmatic to load it.

To modify a placement just unlock a placement on your client. Lock it again after making changes to share the changes with everyone.

## Improvements

  • Stocking areas are now managed through a named registry instead of coordinates embedded in each project. New stockingArea list/new/edit/delete subcommands create, rename, and remove areas (editing and deleting require owning the area or elevated permission), setStockingarea binds a project to an area by name, and force-deleting an area that projects still use unbinds them. Areas stored by existing projects are migrated into the registry automatically on first load.
  • The "Stocking Area from Selection" and "Default Area from Selection" buttons now save the current selection through the named registry: they update the project's bound area, or create an area named after the project and bind it right away, and the default button updates the default area. Servers without named-area support reply with an upgrade hint instead of ignoring the request.
  • The web interface now manages stocking areas through the registry: the placement editor picks an area from a list instead of typing coordinates, and a new panel lists every stocking area with its bounds and how many projects use it.
  • Stocking area scans now inspect only the containers in the loaded chunks covering the area instead of visiting every block, so scan time scales with container count rather than area size. A 1-million-block area with 2,048 chests now completes in 2 game ticks instead of 512, large scans no longer run indefinitely, and areas whose chunks are mostly unloaded finish almost instantly. The per-tick scan budget setting was renamed to scan_block_entities_per_tick, with existing values carried over automatically.
  • Join warnings are now bilingual (Chinese and English): clients that predate named stocking areas are told they are outdated and that stocking areas stay read-only until they update, and the compatibility warning for original Syncmatica clients now includes Chinese.
  • The in-game breaking-change notice now targets 0.5.0 and includes both the Chinese and English migration guides, so both chat buttons open correctly; the documentation links now point at the main branch instead of a branch that does not exist, which always failed to open.
  • Servers switching from an upstream Syncmatica build that stores metadata inside the save now import their placements on first start: placements kept at <world>/syncmatica/placements.json are read as-is, bringing over positions, rotations, and owners, while the source file stays untouched. ([Issue #38](https://github.com/Conflux-Union/syncmatica_r/issues/38))

## Fixes

  • Shift-click claiming of materials and build entries works again on Minecraft 26.3, where mouse buttons are reported differently from earlier versions and clicks were ignored.
  • The sort and filter buttons on the material list and the toggle buttons on the build region list no longer overlap the screen title; the button bars and the lists below them now start underneath it.
  • Project names that the area registry rejects — Chinese characters, spaces, names
...

  • Project names that the area registry rejects — Chinese characters, spaces, names
...

### 🐛 Bug Fixes
  • fix(build): publish shadow jar for unobfuscated versions

Fixes #35: server startup failure on MC 26.2 (NoClassDefFoundError: io/undertow/server/HttpHandler). The published jars for unobfuscated versions (26.1/26.2) contained unrelocated project classes alongside relocated dependencies. The build now publishes the shadow jar output directly, which keeps all classes consistently relocated.
