Temperature API : What does it do? Adds a simple and fast API to get temperature, body temperature, items cold / heat resistance.
Also allows mod developers to add their own biome through a simple json file.
(view the documentation for the api overview and usage.)
Temperature API is used in my other mod, Body Health System forked, so go check that out if you're a user and are interested.
Current mod compatibility :
Serene Seasons. Adds compatibility with Serene seasons and changes temperature based on season.
Biomes O Plenty. Adds by default biome temperatures and humdity.
Dehydration (Only if you use the Body temperature API)
Non compatible mods :
Fabric seasons : Currently not supported. And probably wont. Use Serene seasons.
Biome mods that don't have the API implemented that don't have builtin support.
All Versions
+ Add Version(Creates a offset from the outside and room, vanilla blocks have defaults, see wiki how to add your blocks insulation value)
This has been tested somewhat, the game boots, and the API debug commands work, so everything should work.
So now ppl can't just set their body temperature without proper authorization.
Also added directional aware for the is outside API.
Check wiki to see usage.
This is able to be disabled if you wish. Otherwise leave enabled for cross compat with other mods.
(Also will probably fix if one side of a ommidirection source is exposed preventing block passthrough in those situations as well.)
Notable changes.
Added BlockThermalAPI. (Now considered a stable API)
Tons of fixes / changes within the API.
(Check Wiki on its usage and what it does)
Added debug command for biome api.
