The Ultimate Compat Mod cleans up duplicate items across a bunch of popular mods. Instead of your inventory filling with three different "Redwood Logs" that don't work in each other's recipes, you get ONE, and every single mod's decor, tools, and blocks can still be crafted from it.

❓FAQ
Q: How does this actually work?
A: A mix of datapack overrides (loot tables, recipes, tags, item names) plus a small Java plugin that hides duplicate items from JEI and creative tabs. The Compat Workbench itself adds a custom recipe type with auto-generated bidirectional recipes for every consolidated item.
Q: Are more versions coming?
A: Yes. Forge and NeoForge ports are actively being worked on, plus support for 1.21.1, 1.21.11, and 26.1+ is on the way.
Q: Can I use this in my modpack?
A: Yes! This mod is under an MIT license, which means you can do whatever you like with it ! Add it to your pack, edit it. No permission needed. Credit is appreciated but never required! (please lol)
Q: Can I request another mod, or contribute?
A: Absolutely. Pull requests, bug reports, and mod support requests are all welcome on our GitHub. If a mod adds duplicate items you'd like folded in, open an issue and we'll get to it.

How to Install The Ultimate Compat Mod (Mod)
The Ultimate Compat Mod by Tokimi is verified for Fabric across Minecraft versions 1.20.1 (latest release: 1.6.0, file size: 880 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.20.1) and platform (Fabric).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Fabric.
- Move the downloaded The Ultimate Compat Mod file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.

- Fixed some more tags and recipes that didn't include the loser/winners items for food or crop recipes
- Removed recipes that were pretty confusing
- Made it so the loser items are now visible in JEI again as feedback from players, they didnt like it
- Deleted all tags pertaining to the recipes we had overridden
- added compat recipes for logs to be stripped through farmers delight cutting board.
- added compat recipes for logs to show recipes through the saw that werent showing needed recipes before
- wrapped JEI in a "if mod loaded" reflection as it made things crash if jei was not present
- Had an oversight where if you broke switched blocks, it would still drop the winner item. Made it so now it always drops the item you switched to. So it doesnt get frustrating and oyu have to keep compat switching over and over
- Added a gate so that when you unlock a variant in the compat workbench, those recipes are then unlocked in JEI and recipe book again.
- Fixed JEI Compat Workbench tab organization
- Added compat for Hops (Including AlcoCraft+, Clutter, and Lets Do: Brewery)
- Added the brand new Compat Workbench. Allowing you to convert your items into the other mods items. Just incase you wanna use em for some reason lol.
- Added JEI Compat for the Compat Workbench recipes.
