# TP Home - Version 2.0.8

## Release Date
2026-09-25

## Inventory Improvements

  • Opening the player inventory with E now closes the crafting recipe book by default, so it does not cover the TP Home button. Players can reopen the recipe book normally.
  • The first time the inventory is opened with this mod installed, a client-side guide shows a real in-game inventory screenshot and points out the TP Home button. The guide can open TP Home directly.
  • Dismissing the guide records its state in the client's config/tphome-inventory-guide.seen file. This is per installation, not per server or world; it does not repeat on later inventory opens.
  • Fixed blurred guide text and imagery in the 1.21.1 ports by preventing the screen background from being rendered over the guide. The screenshot is also prepared at its display resolution and drawn without unnecessary rescaling in all maintained ports.

## Maintained Ports

| Loader | Minecraft | Version |
|---|---|---|
| Fabric | 1.21.1 | 2.0.8+fabric+1.21.1 |
| Fabric | 26.2 | 2.0.8+fabric+26.2 |
| NeoForge | 1.21.1 | 2.0.8+neoforge+1.21.1 |
| NeoForge | 26.2 | 2.0.8+neoforge+26.2 |
| NeoForge | 26.3 | 2.0.8+neoforge+26.3 |

Legacy ports and the Bukkit plugin are not part of this release.

## Verification

  • All five maintained projects pass gradlew build.
  • The Fabric 1.21.1 guide was visually checked in a running client after the blur fix; the NeoForge 26.3 guide and its once-only behavior were previously checked in a running client. The other ports were build-verified, not individually visual-tested.

# TP Home — Version 2.0.7

## Release Date
2026-07-30

## Version Scheme

Each maintained port uses a full version string:

| Port | Version |
|---|---|
| tphome-neoforge-26.2 | 2.0.7+neoforge+26.2 |
| tphome-fabric-26.2 | 2.0.7+fabric+26.2 |
| tphome-neoforge-1.21.1 | 2.0.7+neoforge+1.21.1 |
| tphome-fabric-1.21.1 | 2.0.7+fabric+1.21.1 |

Format: 2.0.7+{modloader}+{minecraft_version}

## Highlights

1. **Home creation cooldown** — After creating or overwriting a home, players must wait before teleporting to it (default 5 minutes).
2. **Admin feature master switches** — Acceleration, emergency teleport, and death teleport can be disabled; related buttons stay inactive when off.
3. **Per-player join message opt-out** — Players can disable the login tips (not an OP command).
4. **Fixed hardcoded acceleration button labels** — Home and player-teleport cooldown buttons now show dynamic item costs and time reduction, matching death teleport.
5. **End / cross-dimension rules** — Configurable End TPA, set-home-in-End, death-in-End, teleport-to-End-homes, and all-mod cross-dimension teleports.

## New Features

### Home Creation Cooldown

  • Config: cooldown.homeCreationCooldownSeconds (default 300 = 5 minutes; 0 disables)
  • Command: /setcooldown creation <seconds>
  • Behavior: After /sethome creates or overwrites a home, /gohome and emergency teleport are blocked until the creation lock ends
  • GUI: Shows [New: Xm Ys]; teleport/emergency buttons are inactive while locked
  • Legacy homes without a timestamp are treated as already unlocked

### Feature Master Switches

| Config | Command | Default | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| acceleration.enabled | /setfeature acceleration <bool> | true | Cooldown acceleration (home / TPA / death) |
| emergency.enabled | /setfeature emergency <bool> | true | Emergency teleport |
| death.enabled | /setfeature death <bool> | true | Death-location teleport (death points are still recorded) |

  • When disabled, the server rejects related actions and client buttons stay inactive
  • Settings are synced to clients via ModSettingsSyncPacket

### Join Message Preference (per player)

  • Commands (no OP required):
  • /tphomemsg off — disable join tips
  • /tphomemsg on — re-enable
  • /tphomemsg / /tphomemsg status — show current preference
  • Stored in world homes.json under the player entry; only affects that player

### Dimension / End Rules (/setendrule)

| Subcommand | Config key | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| tpa | end.allowTpaToPlayersInEnd | true | Allow TPA to players currently in The End |
| sethome | end.allowSetHomeInEnd | true | Allow setting homes while in The End |
| death | end.allowDeathTeleportInEnd | true | Allow death teleport when the death location is in The End |
| crossdim | end.allowCrossDimensionHomeTeleport | true | Allow **any** mod teleport that changes dimension (home / emergency / TPA / death) |
| tphome | end.allowTeleportToHomesInEnd | true | Allow teleporting to homes **located in The End** |

  • Run /setendrule with no args to list current rules
  • Editable via config file or commands; changes sync to online players immediately

## Bug Fixes

### Hardcoded cooldown acceleration button text

  • Issue:** Home and player-teleport acceleration UIs used fixed item counts and fixed “Reduce N min” labels that did not match server logic.

  • Fix:**

  • Home acceleration:** Same model as death acceleration — item cost scales with remaining cooldown; time reduction is **50%** of remaining; buttons refresh live
  • Player-teleport acceleration:** Shows real recipe costs and reductions from the server fixed recipes (ender pearls / gold / lapis / emerald, etc.)
  • Buttons are inactive when materials are insufficient or the feature is disabled

Previously only some ports were correct; this release unifies the fix across all maintained ports (including previously missed **Fabric 1.21.1**).

## Improvements

  • /setcooldown extended: home / player / death / delay / creation
  • /resetallconfigs resets the new settings to defaults
  • OP join help text updated for the new commands
  • GUI labels: [Other dim] when cross-dimension is blocked; [End blocked] when End-home teleport is blocked

# TP Home — Version 2.0.7

## Release Date
2026-07-30

## Version Scheme

Each maintained port uses a full version string:

| Port | Version |
|---|---|
| tphome-neoforge-26.2 | 2.0.7+neoforge+26.2 |
| tphome-fabric-26.2 | 2.0.7+fabric+26.2 |
| tphome-neoforge-1.21.1 | 2.0.7+neoforge+1.21.1 |
| tphome-fabric-1.21.1 | 2.0.7+fabric+1.21.1 |

Format: 2.0.7+{modloader}+{minecraft_version}

Update Log

sethomelimit Command Enhancements:
  • Removed Global Override: The sethomelimit <limit> all option has been removed as per the user's request.
  • Granular Limit Control: The command now provides more refined control over home limits:
  • /sethomelimit <limit> admins: Sets the default home limit for all players with administrator privileges (OP
level 2+).
  • /sethomelimit <limit> regulars: Sets the default home limit for regular players.
  • /sethomelimit <limit> <playername>: Allows setting a specific home limit for an individual player.
  • Priority Mechanism:
  • The command now adheres to a clear priority for applying limits: Specific Player Limit > Role-Based Limit
(Admins/Regulars) > Default (if no specific/role limit is set).
  • Feedback messages in-game clarify this priority.
  • Impact Notifications: When setting role-based limits (admins or regulars), the system will now inform you how many
players have specific limits set and thus will not be affected by the role-based change.
  • Offline Player Limitation: Due to observed API limitations in Minecraft 1.21.10 NeoForge regarding reliable
GameProfileCache access for offline players, the /sethomelimit <limit> <playername> and /listcustomlimits clear
<player> commands currently only support online players.

New listcustomlimits Command for Management:
  • A new command, /listcustomlimits, has been added to help manage players with specific home limits:
  • /listcustomlimits count: Displays the total number of players who currently have a custom home limit
configured.
  • /listcustomlimits view <start> <end>: Shows a paginated list of players with custom limits. For online players,
their current role (Admin/Regular) is displayed. For offline players, their role is listed as "Unknown
(Offline)" due to API constraints in determining their OP status when not online.
  • /listcustomlimits clear <player>: Removes a custom limit previously set for a specific player (currently
supports online players only).
  • /listcustomlimits clearrange <start> <end>: Allows for batch removal of custom limits for players within a
specified range from the view list.

Backend Refactoring (HomeStorage.java):
  • Hierarchical Limit System: HomeStorage has been refactored to support the new limit hierarchy, including dedicated
fields for adminLimit and regularLimit.
  • Dynamic Limit Retrieval: The getEffectiveLimit method now dynamically calculates a player's active home limit based
on the defined priority.
  • Data Persistence: The storage mechanism has been updated to correctly save and load the new limit configurations.

  • Data Persistence: The storage mechanism has been updated to correctly save and load the new limit configurations.

players have specific limits set and thus will not be affected by the role-based change.
