Unobtrusive Effects
A small client-side mod for Fabric that disables or lessens certain obtrusive visual effects.
Features:
- Hides the first-person fire overlay while the Fire Resistance status effect is active.
- Culls the potion swirl particles while in first-person view within a specified distance.
- All features are optional.
Configuration:
Either edit the config file (unobtrusive-effects.ini) found in the Fabric config folder (requires a restart for the changes to take effect), or (optionally) use Mod Menu to edit the options in game.

How to Install Unobtrusive Effects (Mod)
Unobtrusive Effects by VertigoGX is verified for Fabric across Minecraft versions 1.21.10, 1.21.11, 1.21.4, 1.21.5, 1.21.6, 1.21.7, 1.21.8, 1.21.9 (latest release: 1.5.0, file size: 18 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.21.10, 1.21.11, 1.21.4, 1.21.5, 1.21.6, 1.21.7, 1.21.8, 1.21.9) and platform (Fabric).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Fabric.
- Move the downloaded Unobtrusive Effects file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.
