Version 2.0.0 is now out. This is a huge rewrite of the entire system. The old system was a Recursion based system where you would go deeper into each folder and then see the content. While that Configured Mod inspiration was nice. It gets quite the hassle real quick. So a new approach was needed. Thankfully it was provided by Xaikii. Who came up with a multi stack approach, my name not a term. Where you can see 2-3 layers below your current view target. Which allows you traverse a lot quicker. In combination with a standardized component system, which can allocate height as needed, thanks to Chunkpregen, it provided the ideal template. With that new component system comes also a layered screen system for selections. Instead of Opening a new gui it instead pops out a dropdown menu for quick selection that also includes a search bar. Also arrays can be sorted using Drag and Drop. Because i like to add useful features last minute, Carbon Config now also comes with a Backup system that should handle everything that you can access with it. You can create backups of client/shared/server/world configs. Though for World/Server specific configs require to be in them to have backup support. As unique identifiers that are used to link with these configs are otherwise not accessible. One last major feature Proposed by Xaikii was a Mod Dependency viewer. Which is more functional than fancy because we simply ran out of time and wanted to at least have something with it. It has a dedicated keybinding to open it and shows you required & optional dependencies. Show you metadata like license, description and version. If provided it will also give you a link to the mod pages. On Forge & Neoforge even on Mods that are not installed. This assumes mods have a "referral link". Anyways this covers everything.
