# v4 – Major Release
## Breaking Changes
- **Minecraft 1.21.8+ only:**
CommandPanels v4 supports only the latest Minecraft version.
Older versions (1.8.8–1.20.x) remain supported by v3 at [v3.commandpanels.net](https://v3.commandpanels.net) downloads available on SpigotMC.
- **PaperMC exclusive:**
SpigotMC support has been dropped. New builds will be available primarily on Modrinth as SpigotMC does not have PaperMC only plugins.
- **Config overhaul:**
New config format incompatible with v3.
No converter yet, but a new online editor will be released shortly after this update.
