# Icy's Better Horses 2.1.3 ## New - **Carpets:** a carpet gear slot! put any carpet on your horse and it shows on its back, with its own textures for every breed. - **More horse food:** horses now eat carrots, potatoes, beetroot, melon slices, sweet berries, glow berries and sugar cane to heal, grow and tame faster. it's an item tag (`icys-better-horses:horse_snacks`) so packs can add more. - **Gear up / gear down:** the walk cycle is now two keys. **V** shifts up (walk, trot, canter, gallop) and **Z** shifts back down to a halt, instead of looping around. - **Datapack class speeds:** the speed range of every horse class can now be changed with a datapack (`data/icys-better-horses/better_horses/class/<class>.json`, `min_speed` / `max_speed` in blocks per second). ## Fixes - **Handbook translations:** the page text now switches language right away when you change it, instead of staying in the old language until you rejoin. - **Immersive Horse Riding + Shoulder Surfing Reloaded:** selected gaits move the horse again when using a third person camera mod (also Leawind and Better Third Person). - **Touhou Little Maid + Yes Steve Model:** maids using YSM models no longer float above the horse. ## Compat - **Estrogen:** you can collect horse urine from every better horses breed with a glass bottle. - **Magic From The East:** jade pagoda horse armor textures for every breed. - **Heralds II:** their banners can go in the horse banner slot and show on the horse's back like vanilla ones. cheers!
