MenuKit 2.0.0 rebuilds the library around fewer systems. It adds little new surface.
Creating a slot and interacting with it are now separate. One window handles anything addressable in the same way: a vanilla slot, a created slot, an element, or a panel.
Placement is one system instead of three. Every panel positions by screen region and sizes itself to the screen at any GUI scale, wrapping its width and scrolling its height. Relative-verb placement and lambda anchors are gone.
Hiding and covering follow one rule. A hidden panel takes no input, a visible opaque panel stops clicks from passing through it, and anything it covers takes no input either.
Also in this release: groundwork for adaptive layouts, fixes to the widget gallery, HUD text merged into the core label (which wraps), and injected panels that default to every screen.
Breaking: the old slot and placement APIs do not compile against 2.0.
