# Methane 2.2
- Added support for [Methane Server Utils](https://modrinth.com/mod/methane-server-utilities), allowing fabric server admins to enforce whether or not they want to allow Methane or if they want to force it to be used, or set their own default state for clients with the mod.
- Fix a few locale issues with Australian English and US English.
> **NOTE:** Methane Server Utils only _officially_ supports 1.20.2+, and 1.20.2 servers and 1.20 clients are not cross-compatible in Minecraft.
