# Molten Veins 0.7.8
Fixes the Litematica / Forgematica conflict. Good news: I didn't have to remove scroll
switching after all.
**Minecraft:** 1.21.8 · 1.21.9 · 1.21.10 · 1.21.11 · 26.1 · 26.1.1 · 26.1.2 · 26.2
**Loaders:** Fabric · NeoForge

## 🖱️ Scroll mode switching is now its own keybind
The problem was that scroll switching was hardwired to your Vein Mine key. Hold Left Alt and
Molten Veins grabbed **every** scroll event in the game, which meant Litematica and
Forgematica couldn't see Alt / Ctrl+scroll at all. Their own mode selection and controls just
stopped responding while you were mining.
Scroll switching now has a dedicated keybind of its own: **Mode Scroll Modifier**, sitting
with the rest of the mod's controls in **Options → Controls**. Two things follow from that:
**It ships unbound.** Out of the box Molten Veins no longer touches your scroll wheel at
all, so there's nothing left to conflict with. Litematica and Forgematica work normally
again the moment you update, no setup needed.
**You choose the key.** Want scroll switching back? Bind Mode Scroll Modifier to whatever
you like, including Left Alt if that never bothered you. Pick something your other mods
aren't using and it stays out of their way.
Nothing else about switching modes changed. **V** still cycles modes, the **Z** settings
screen still has the mode picker, and both of those are still rebindable.
> **Upgrading from 0.7.7?** Scroll switching will be off until you bind the new key. That's
> intentional. Head to Options → Controls → Molten Veins and set Mode Scroll Modifier to
> your preference.
There's also a `scrollCycleEnabled` flag in `config/moltenveins.json` if you'd rather kill
scroll switching outright and never think about it again.
