# Paradigm 2.5.3 ### New Features - Added NeoForge support for Minecraft 26.1.2, with its own Java 25 build target. - Added native `/workbench` and `/enderchest` commands, with `/craft` and `/ec` aliases. Commands use existing permission checks and toggles; the Ender Chest opens the player's actual inventory. - Replaced player `/invsee` and `/endersee` chat listings with live, read-only native inventory GUIs across all maintained loaders. Inspected items retain native metadata, NBT and data components; console inspection keeps its text output. - Resynchronized the viewer's own equipment after blocked inspection clicks and creative inventory packets to prevent client-side offhand ghost items. - Added safe, persistent player nicknames with `/nick <nickname>`, `/nick off`, staff `/nick set` and `/nick reset`, `/nick list`, and `/realname` lookup. - Added `{display_name}`, `{nickname}`, and `{real_name}` placeholders. Nicknames appear in custom chat and supported TAB display names without changing account names, UUIDs, permissions, or moderation targets. - Added nickname information to `/whois` and Dashboard moderation player details. - Added `/paradigm rank display <group|auto>` and a Dashboard setting for choosing an active directly assigned group for presentation only. Unavailable or expired selections fall back to automatic group selection. - Added optional per-group `chatNameFormat` and `chatMessageFormat` overrides, including existing hex colors, gradients, and bold formatting, with Dashboard editing and previews. - Added per-server playtime accounting and tools for importing historical playtime statistics. - Added configurable item checks and consumption, group assignment/removal actions, broadcast actions, and transaction workflows for menus and custom commands. - Added legacy item metadata support to item requirements and menu icons. ### Dashboard - Fixed formatting previews showing literal gradient tags. Shared previews now render multi-color gradients with nested styles, including group prefixes and suffixes. - Rebuilt the Dashboard interface with improved navigation, responsive layouts, and consistent editors for configuration, permissions, menus, custom commands, holograms, tickets, and storage. - Improved permission group and track editors, including member pagination, staged changes, formatting previews, and explanations of weights, display selection, promotion order, and inheritance. - Preserved staged permission edits through discard operations and partial failures, and improved validation of menu, custom command, and action editor requests. - Added central Dashboard login for shared-server setups and improved reverse-proxy support, including prefixed URLs and session cookie paths. - Improved the distinction between page access and mutation permissions, server-scoped operations, and validation of remotely copied configuration. - Added persisted server runtime telemetry and clearer stale, missing, and unavailable metric states. - Improved ticket management and enforced category access for imported web tickets, including denying handling when an imported category is unavailable. ### Permissions, Chat, and TAB - Applied the group's username format to TAB as well as chat, so gradients can be configured per group while keeping `{prefix}{player_name}{suffix}` in the global TAB layout. Explicit group formats take priority over trailing prefix colors. - Allowed deleting built-in `admin` and `default` groups without recreating them on reload or restart. Deleting the active default group removes its implicit membership. - Added `/paradigm group rename <group> <new-name>` and staged group renaming in the Dashboard. Renames preserve permission and membership IDs, expiry, inheritance, tracks, presentation settings, and the default-group role across shared SQL servers. - Unified trailing color resolution with the existing message parser, so chat and TAB share its handling of color tags and resets. - Made active trailing group prefix colors override player-name colors in both chat and TAB, and trailing suffix colors override message colors from `chat.json`, even when `{suffix}` is omitted. Explicit group `chatNameFormat` and `chatMessageFormat` overrides retain priority; absent or reset colors use the configured defaults. - Fixed Forge and NeoForge TAB display-name updates that could leave connected clients showing stale account names or colors. - Made automatic display-group selection deterministic: the highest-weight active group wins, with alphabetical group-name ordering for equal weights. - Applied current player world/dimension contexts and temporary assignment expiry to presentation metadata. - Unified chat, TAB, and group placeholder metadata selection so internal permissions configuration takes precedence over the mere presence of LuckPerms classes. - Refreshed internal TAB metadata without reusing stale context or expiry results, allowing rank, weight, and displayed-group changes to appear without relogging on the next TAB refresh. - Corrected reversed native TAB ordering on Fabric 1.21.11, Forge 1.21.11, and NeoForge 26.1.2. Added ordering fallbacks for the older supported versions, including Fabric 1.21.1 and Forge 1.7.10. Failed display/order updates remain eligible for retry. - Preserved group prefixes, suffixes, username styling, and existing hover/click behavior when displaying nicknames. Account-name placeholders in configured click commands remain canonical. - Restricted nicknames to 3–16 ASCII letters, digits, or underscores; reserved command keywords, rejected case-insensitive conflicts and known account names, and suppressed nicknames that later conflict with a known real account. - Improved synchronization of shared SQL permission definitions and user assignments across servers without overwriting unrelated remote changes. - Required acknowledged persistence before reporting success for paid rank assignments. - Kept displayed-group preferences separate from permission evaluation, explicit denials, OP fallback, inheritance, and promotion/demotion logic. ### Reliability and Compatibility - Improved shutdown ordering so modules stop producing work before storage and scheduler cleanup, with final playtime measurements retained in the journal. - Preserved playtime recovery state through SQL outages and added storage-identity checks and clearer recovery diagnostics. - Improved handling of rejected storage work, transaction conflicts, and uncertain persistence outcomes. - Preserved SQL authority during MySQL outages by default, and rejected invalid storage configuration instead of silently selecting another backend. - Fixed cross-dimension Vanish tracking and visibility refresh behavior. - Improved registered-world and dimension resolution, including legacy stored locations and modded worlds. - Fixed Forge 1.7.10/Crucible command permission integration and custom chat formatting, while preserving standard Forge behavior. - Preserved foreign scoreboard-team ownership and complete rank-prefix formatting in legacy TAB handling. - Isolated bundled Gson on legacy Forge to avoid runtime library conflicts. - Made `/home` select the only available home automatically and show a compact clickable selection when multiple homes exist. - Fixed menu placeholder refresh and restricted Fabric item consumption to the intended main-inventory and hotbar slots.
