- **AwesomeChat compatibility** — ProtectCord now auto-detects [AwesomeChat](https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/awesomechat.123694/) and strips Bukkit color codes and MiniMessage format tags from messages before AutoMod evaluation, preventing false anti-caps and anti-spam triggers
- **`compatibility:` config section** — both integrations are fully configurable per-plugin with granular toggles for each sanitization behavior; detection logging can also be toggled
- **Startup detection logging** — when a supported compat plugin is found, ProtectCord logs which sanitization features are active so server admins know the integration is working
- **PlaceholderAPI placeholder documentation** — all `%protectcord_*%` placeholders are now documented directly in `config.yml` for easy reference
