## [1.4.0] - 2026-09-21 ### Changed - **BREAKING**: Updated to Minecraft 26.3 (requires Java 25). - **BREAKING**: Brewing recipes are now data-driven. Minecraft 26.3 removed the runtime `PotionBrewing` registry and turned brewing into a regular `minecraft:brewing` recipe type, so both loaders now ship `data/spawnguard/recipe/brewing/*.json` from `common` instead of registering mixes in code. The recipes themselves are unchanged (Weakness + Blaze Powder, then + Redstone). - Updated Fabric API to 0.161.0+26.3, Fabric Loader to 0.19.5, NeoForge to 26.3.0.7-beta, Cloth Config to 26.3.158, ModMenu to 21.0.0-beta.1. - Updated Fabric Loom to 1.17.21, NeoForge moddev to 2.0.147, Gradle wrapper to 9.6.0. - `fabric.mod.json` dependency bounds now track the built version (Minecraft >=26.3, Cloth Config >=26.3.0). ### Fixed - `pack.mcmeta` declared pack format 101, which was Minecraft 26.1's *data* pack format and matched neither format of the targeted version. It now declares `97`–`121`, covering both the resource pack format (97) and the data pack format (121) of 26.3 — the mod ships assets and, as of this release, data. - NeoForge: replaced the `logoFile` property deprecated in 26.3 with `iconFile`. ### Removed - Fabric: `FabricPotionBrewingBuilder` registration (the Fabric API hook was removed along with the vanilla registry). - NeoForge: `RegisterBrewingRecipesEvent` subscriber.
