This update should be compatible with exiting worlds using Frostpale v1.2, but a backup is always recommended. **General:** - **Updated Pack Format to 107 for Minecraft 26.2** - **Updated advancements, predicates, and loot tables to use the new syntax** - **Re-exported Animated Java Rigs to use the latest beta version** - **Made more mobs wear Leather Boots that provide no armor rating, so they can walk on Powder Snow.** This includes all Illagers, farm animals, and Iron Golems, along with the existing Villagers - **Changed the icon for the Indestructible advancement** - **Replaced Red Sand with Snow Bricks.** The only behavior of Red Sand they still retain is gravity - **Replaced Red Sandstone and its variants with Bone Bricks and Bone Brick variant blocks** - **Made Soul-Encrusted Bone Bricks burn infinitely, produce Soul Fire,** and also count as Bookshelves for Enchanting Tables - **Bone Blocks no longer drop a random amount of Bone Meal** when mined in the Overworld - **Bone Blocks can now be crafted from 4 Bone Meal instead of 9,** but also craft back into 4 Bone Meal **Worldgen:** - **Changed the shape of the piles of Stone, Ice, and Deepslate.** They're now somewhat short spikes, courtesy of a feature technique learned from Incendium - **Fixed Resin Clumps generating incorrectly on fallen trees** - **Reduced frequency of Iron and Copper Ore at higher elevations** - **Reduced the frequency of Ores overall at lower elevetations** - **Made several Ores use trapezoid height ranges instead of uniform.** This means that they will have Y levels where they appear more commonly, and will taper off at sufficiently higher or lower Y levels - **Increased the size of Calcite Ore blobs** - **Reduced the range that Coal and Bone "Fossil" ores can spread** **Structures:** - **Added the Tomb of Bones,** a rare endgame structure - Generates on the surface the Snowfield, Barren Forest, Chilling Woods, and Infected Forest biomes - Made of assorted Bone Bricks, Ice Bricks, and Deepslate blocks - Consists of a surface mausoleum, a depressed open-air crypt, three regular rooms, and one Phylactery Room - Skulls on the ground are sometimes brought to life as Strays wearing full Diamond Armor, wielding Bows, Diamond Swords, or Diamond Spears - Snow Bricks in the walls sometimes reveal these same armored Strays inside - The Phylactery room spawns a Phylactery, an animated entity that offers one of three challenges: - Hide and Seek: Interact with the Phylactery as it teleports around the room. Find it 6 times to complete the challenge - Self-Defense: The Phylactery will summon three waves of four lightly-armored Strays wielding Bows, Diamond Swords, or Diamond Spears. Defeat all three waves to complete the challenge - Miniboss: The Phylactery has 60 Health, resistance to many damage types, immunity to some damage types, and will periodically summon lightly-armored Strays, shoot death beams, and teleport around the room. Kill the Phylactery to complete the challenge - When the challenge is completed, the Phylactery drops as an item - A new Phylactery can be spawned after three real-time hours by setting Soul Fire on the spawn location - **Made Village roads solid blocks.** As part of this, Packed Ice and Blue Ice Bricks and Tiles no longer accumulate Snow Layers - **Added a Campfire piece to the Bandit Fort Sewers** - **Added a Lava Cauldron piece to the Bandit Fort Castle** **Loot/Items:** - **Updated Iron Spears to be Steel Spears,** and require a Steel Ingot - **Updated Diamond Spears to require Ancient Ice** - **Added multiple new Black Ice items, adding more utility to this unbreakable block.** They can all be crafted, are unbreakable, and tend to be a little better than their regular counterparts, though can't be enchanted. These are Shears, Bow, Mace, Horse Armor, and Nautilus Armor. - **Added the Phylactery** - Obtained in Bone Tombs after completing the Phylactery's challenge - A drinkable Potion of Regeneration III and Bad Omen III - Behaves like a Totem of Undying when held, but applies a curse when used - Drinking a Phylactery while under the curse lifts it, and also grants a bonus that lasts until you trigger a Phylactery again or die
