### **The game version have been updated to 1.21.4!**
###
This version changes a **LOT** of things. I would suggest sticking with the previous version of the modpack if you have a save you don't want to corrupt. Since a relatively large number of mods have not yet been updated for 1.21.4, some features are temporarily absent from the modpack. But new ones have appeared, and I've tried my best to find alternatives to the missing mods.
**I strongly recommend that you create a new save to play on this update to avoid problems. Or at the very least, make a backup of your current world for safety's sake.**
----------
This update took a long time to complete, as I wanted to deliver something as stable as possible with as few bugs as I could. But also because the version change required a lot of adjustments. I've also reworked the overall balancing to make the experience more enjoyable and consistent troughout the game, both in terms of difficulty and speed of progression.
My objective is still to expand the Vanilla while respecting its style and way of functioning. I'm aiming to make this modpack a deeper and more challenging version of the base game, while keeping it accessible to a wider audience.
### So what has actually changed?
- The whole world generation (new biomes, distribution rules for structures) : terrain generation is now closer to the Vanilla one, while being more varied and much faster to generate than in the previous versions
- Full controllers support!
- The visuals of the integrated shader (Complementary Reimagined) have been redone from the ground, offering a look more reminiscent of the official trailers and other games in the license. Visibility and performance have also been improved
- Many other visual changes, mainly related to particles, to enhance the game's atmosphere
- Many tweaks here and there (combat system, enchanting, repairing cost,...), some new QoL features
- Overall optimization (loading time, chunk efficiency, stuttering reduction, lower latency, fps improvement)
- Tweaked bundles to make them more useful and relevant
And a lot more I've propably forgotten to mention, as I've been working on this update for a while and don't remember all the changes.
