# Voice Chat Recording 2.1 This update focuses on back end changes, including a few breaking API changes ## Changes * Optimize audio caching, task scheduling, audio saving and audio playing * No longer spams the logs with cache messages * Fixes a few errors that could occur when a player in the server doesn't have voice chat installed * Fixes unnecessarily saving the same audio files multiple times when two mods save it around the same time * The mod is now server-side, so players can join a server with it without the mod installed themselves; this doesn't apply to Revervox ## API changes * VoiceChatRecordingApi.unsaveAudio no longer takes an IRecorded audio, taking a player and audio UUID instead * No longer uses Mojang's Pair for audio identification, instead uses a new class AudioId: this means VoiceChatRecordingApi.getNamespaceAudios now returns Set<AudioId> instead * AudioPlayer no longer exists, AudioPlayingUtil is preferred
