World Alive is based on the mod Cosy Critters, an ambient mod that added: * Birds * Spiders * Moths * The Hat Man (allegedly) v1.0.0 - "World Alive" A full rebrand: New critters & sights * New birds: Flamingo, magpie, seagull, barn owl, parakeet, red cardinal, robin, toucan * Butterflies - blue morpho, painted lady, monarch, the flaming crescent (crimson forest) and the warping crescent (warped forest). * Cicada - an insect/ bug idk lmao that chills on logs and makes that loud ass noise * Desert mirages - distant oasis and village illusions that shimmer on the horizon and fade away as you get close * Horizon wanderers - far-off riders on land, and ships out at sea. Spot one and it turns away Ambience & sound overhaul * Every bird now calls both while perched and in flight with a per flock call cap * master bird-call volume slider in the config. * Cicada calls cut off the moment their tree/block is broken. A more seamless world * Cross into a new biome and its wildlife is already there, instead of waiting for the previous area's to despawn. * Previous flocks linger and thin out naturally behind you, rather than being cleared - turn around and they're still there. * Wildlife spawns off-screen so nothing pops into view.
